No xTrends --> No More...

No xTrends has led to job offers and threats of lawsuits.  I hope that's a measure of its impact.

To prevent somebody from hijacking the site for evil, I'll keep control.  However, it'll be silent.

When you are following a financial blogger, ask yourself if these steps are being followed:

  • Entry close to realtime
  • Target
  • Stop
  • Reason/Logic/Chart
If a trade fails in one of these four steps, the trade will likely fail.

Epilogue:

I am the owner/CEO of a successful software company.  One of our working projects is based on neural net trading of stocks. When developing my software models, I would frequently try to mimic certain traders.  This is when I became concerned about what and how information from financial bloggers was delivered to the public.

Since the software has been paying the bills, I was hoping that I could build up enough momentum to have a self-sustaining discussion of trades.  I even started developing software for such a new web application.  However, despite all my tricks, the momentum really never developed.

However, another one of my pet projects did catch fire.  Thus, my attention needs to go there.  NxT isn't the first aborted project I've had.  It won't be the last.

I would love to just tell you my name, be friends with you on facebook, and all of us keep up with each other outside of NxT.  I enjoyed getting to know some of you guys and gals. However, there are psychopaths among the financial trolls out there--really, really crazy folks.

I've got backups of this web site and the skeleton of the web application on the storage servers.  I'll never say never...
